The duo

This picture was taken back during the Memorial Day weekend. Or is it Labor Day? It was taken in whichever of those two "holidays" is in the Autumn. I digress. This is a photo of my cousin who is taking a picture of something or another. I mean really? That's a pretty odd angle he is at!

And yes, that is a golf course behind him, Wichita State University has a golf course on their campus, I am jealous.

I keep telling him that we need to do some kind of joint work, even if it is him taking a shot of something and me screwing with it in photoshop. But he is too smug about his work to do something like that. Or it might have something to do with that time I took his facebook picture and made him look like a girl....

Anyway, check out his photoblog, he does some amazing landscape photography. Not to mention his occasional pictures of random stuff, like a road divider or factory, are actually nice to look at! http://jeremyjewellphotography.blogspot.com/

The smiling dog

Well I think a big ol' smiling dog is a good way to start the day, don't you?

My project that I mentioned in the previous post is under way, slow start though but I do have one person who I have shot and two others who have agreed to help me out. I would like to shoot 13 people by February 2nd, but honestly not sure if I will pull it off.

My project is taking pictures of people in a way that represents them. I have to be artistic and all that of course, but you get the gist of it. As far as my thoughts on the project go, I do not think I will stick with photographing people. People shots are still my favorite to view, but they are far too much trouble to do and so many people do not like being photographed. Oh well, live and learn.

Here is our smiling dog, Bandit to distract you from my moaning and groaning
