I feel that I should have had this post yesterday, January 1st, but I got home pretty late and so did not feel like editing photos.
Not much to say on this one other than I took it on New Year's Eve in Tulsa while killing time 'till midnight somewhere. Over Christmas, so one week earlier, Tulsa got a lot of snow especially for the area, and, as you can see a lot of it is still on the ground. As I am sure you know, cold air accompanies snow, which is what made taking this picture so much trouble, but I think it is worth it.
Enough chitchat though, I have nothing to say other than it was cold when I took this picture and it basically marks the end of the Holiday season.
Oh yeah! This picture was taken with my brand new 6-point star filter that my uncle and his family got for me for christmas. It turns ever point of light into a six point start to make a pretty cool effect. I can't wait for it to snow so I can take a picture in some beam of light which my father has told me turns every snowflake into a star.

Great photo! This would make a beautiful holiday card except for the part where you might need the homeowners permission.
ReplyDeleteOh man, that was a frigid night! Is that distortion in the bottom right corner, or is there a path in the snow that curves around? I like the look of it whatever it is.
ReplyDeleteI do believe that that is a path they have in their yard. Wow, that does not make sense to have that there, so I am not entirely sure....
ReplyDeleteAnd oh boy oh boy that night was cooooooooooold.
